CURS is a leading international centre for research, teaching and consultancy in spatial and social planning studies, an academic and policy discipline that encompasses agendas around housing, regeneration, economic development, communities and the governance of public policy.


Our focus for research and teaching is grouped around two areas:

These interface in a combined interest in the link between policy developments and outcomes which impact upon society at all spatial levels.

Undergraduate degrees (BSc)
The School offers a number of exciting and forward thinking undergraduate courses across our departments.

Masters degrees (PGCert, PGDip, Dip, MSc)
We offer a wide range of taught MSc degree programmes, as well as Postgraduate Diplomas, Certificates and other qualifications that can be taken on a full-time, part-time or modular basis.
